Let me begin by saying I love Avery Gale and her books. I have ready alot of them and have enjoyed every one. When I first read the Masters of the Prairie Winds Club first Book, I was very excited for the series to continue and when I found this book last night I was thrilled. As I read the book I was tempted to return it to Amazon and a huge disappointment. The first half of the book is very rough & disjointed, the time lapse between incidents is all run together. Half of the paragraphs you don't know who is talking, so many typo's that I had to keep re-reading to figure out what was being said and by who. One paragraph had Gracie and her Doms getting ready for a scene and the next it was a couple weeks later all in one paragraph. I was over half way through the book before it smoothed out enough to make sense and get interesting but its still jumping time without making sense. Avery Gale either rushed through this one or someone else wrote it on her behalf as it isn't near the quality of her other books.The story began as the first book left off which is always great, I think the story line itself is great but so very disappointed on the quality. between the typo's, the time lapse within the paragraphs and story and the way it bounces around really leave me not enjoying the story. I have less than 20% left to read and if it all comes together in this little bit that I have left, it will be a miss-mash of an ending and be very unsatisfying.

once again avery has taken us to visit the masters of the prarie winds club! and once again it is a very well written book. the plot was interesting and held my attention. i love avery gales books, and book two of the prarie winds club did not dissappoint!
Here is another good series from Avery Gale. I debated about starting this series because there are do many series' out there that it seems once you start one, it ends. However, I am glad that I gave this one a chance. I liked that it wasn't just a book of steamy scenes, there is the suspense/mystery factor to it also. Can't wait for the third book to be released! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 only because the editing really needs some serious help.
I have been waiting and waiting for the second book in this series and Avery did NOT disappointment at all. Jax is to die for and so is his friend, Micah. Together they help save Gracie from the past and in turn, find the perfect woman for them. Love, love, love this and I cannot wait for the next book. Avery is an autobuy for me everytime.
while enjoyed this book I got very irritated that it kept jumping from character to character. one chapter would be about Grace and the next Tobi then the next Lily then Tobi again back to Grace. I didn't like that it kept jumping around. I had to really focus on remembering every tiny detail to keep interested. not a fun way to read for me.
I also thought it odd that for a team of highly skilled and trained military men that they would want proof that the bad guy was indeed dead.
The story was decent enough but too short. Several sections of different chapters took off following storylines of other characters who were either in established relationships (characters from the first book in the series) or just getting their feet wet in a new one (characters from the 3rd and 4th books).
It was nice the author showed the nuances of the story as the different characters shifted out of the scene, but at the same time it took away from development of the main characters and their relationship.
The first book in the series was a much more satisfying read.
I enjoy Avery Gale’s books. I like the fact that while each book has new main characters, the old characters make noteworthy appearances in subsequent books. Also the main characters to appear in her next books or books are introduced in earlier books to give you s hint of who is on tap for future books. I enjoy them. Worth trying. Read!
I just finished this book and I am anxious awaiting book 3.
We met Grace in book 1. Grace has struggled for most of her adult life with fear and loss. Enter Micah and Jax. Two SEALs who are in love with Grace. They take their time, but are there for her through her next battle. One she can't afford to lose.
Several other members of the first book continue their stories in Grace' s book as well.
Grace tries to run from her problems, but Micah and Jax stop her at each step. As usual we are left hanging at the end and I can't wait to see where it goes next. I won't let out any spoilers,but this is a MUST read book.
I love reading Avery' s books and this is another one to add to my list.
